1.About these terms
These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a licence agreement between you and Henry Nwiro, trading as PrepPass UK ("we", "us"), the provider of the PrepPass app ("PrepPass"). By using PrepPass you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2.What PrepPass is (and is not)
PrepPass is a practice tool for the Trinity College London B1 English test (GESE Grade 5). It provides mock speaking exams with an AI examiner and AI-generated feedback.
PrepPass is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to Trinity College London or UK Visas and Immigration.
Mock results and scores are estimates to help you practise. They are not official results and do not guarantee any result in the real exam.
PrepPass does not give immigration or legal advice. Always check GOV.UK for the requirements that apply to your application.
3.Who can use PrepPass
You must be 18 or over, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
4.Your account
PrepPass creates an anonymous account on your device when you first open it. You do not need to give your name or email address.
Your credits and exam history belong to that anonymous account. If you delete the app, clear its data or change device, you may lose access to your credits and history. Contact us if this happens and we will try to help, but we cannot guarantee recovery.
You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Delete my data. This also deletes any unused credits, which cannot be restored afterwards.
5.Credits, purchases and the free trial
A full mock exam uses one credit. Credits are bought as in-app purchases through the Apple App Store or Google Play and are consumed when used. Payment is handled by Apple or Google under their terms; we do not see your card details.
If you end an exam in the first minute, or no speech is captured, your credit may be restored automatically under the rules shown in the app. Requests for refunds of purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their refund policies.
New accounts may take one free trial covering the Topic phase of the exam. The trial is limited to one per person, and we may limit, pause or withdraw free trials at any time, for example to prevent abuse.
Credits have no cash value and cannot be transferred.
6.Acceptable use
You must not: copy, modify, decompile or reverse engineer the app except where the law allows; access the service by automated means or try to obtain free trials or credits by creating multiple accounts; use the AI examiner for anything other than exam practice; interfere with the service or its security; or use PrepPass for anything unlawful or offensive.
We may suspend or end access for anyone who breaks these Terms.
7.AI-generated content
The examiner, transcripts, scores and feedback are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain mistakes. Use them as guidance alongside your own judgement.
8.Intellectual property
PrepPass, its content and its design belong to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial practice. Your topic form and your answers remain yours.
9.Availability and changes
We aim to keep PrepPass available and working well, but we do not promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update the app, these Terms or our prices. If we make important changes to these Terms, we will tell you in the app.
10.Our liability
Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Otherwise, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable, for business losses, or for the result of any real exam or immigration application. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11.Apple App Store
If you downloaded PrepPass from the Apple App Store: these Terms are between you and us, not Apple, and we (not Apple) are responsible for the app and its content. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support. If the app fails to meet any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, which may refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation. Apple is not responsible for any claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal or regulatory compliance, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you. You confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US Government embargo and are not on any US Government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
12.Law and contact
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. You may bring proceedings in the courts of your part of the United Kingdom.
